Forty-three percent of the labour force in Saskatchewan has a post secondary diploma, certificate or degree and this proportion of the labour force is continually growing. Fifty-four percent of the labour force either has some post secondary education or a post secondary diploma, certificate or degree.

Two universities and four campuses of the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) provide employers and employees access to state of the art training to meet the needs of industry in Saskatchewan.
