Crime issues do not fall within the scope of our current Prince Albert Policy Plan. However, appropriate land use standards can help reduce the opportunity for crime in our city. For example, the elimination of rear lanes, better lighting in public places, appropriate landscaping in parks and an enhanced role for the Police Service in urban design can all play a role in reducing the opportunity for crime.
